What are the four main assumptions of behaviourism?
-Nurture influences behaviour through conditioning/reinforcement, Only interested in observable and measurable behaviour not concerned with mental processes, rejects introspection, uses controlled and objective methods.

What is behaviour shaping?
When someone exhibits behaviours that are close to the desired behaviour, the teacher reinforces this behaviour by giving them a reward. The learners' behaviour becomes closer and closer to the desired outcome until the correct response is achieved.
