(a person's sense of who they are)

Hegemony
(a complete worldview which often incorporates several ideologies - this is almost always someone else's view of the world, e.g. the dominant class/ruling elite)

(to bring things together into one complete whole - often at the detriment of the majority. It can be argued that masculnity is a totalising concept. Patriarchy definitely is.)
