Validity

VALIDITY

Validity refers to whether we are measuring what we intend to measure.

-There are multiple types of validity. 

Face Validity 

• This is a measure of whether it looks subjectively promising that a tool measures what it is supposed to. 

Internal Validity 

• Measure of whether results obtained are the only results affected by changes in the variable being. Is it that the dependent variable is only affected because we have an IV.
