• Urban renewal schemes:- Encourage investment in new housing, services and employment in derelcit areas
• New towns:- House overspill populations form existing towns and cities where there is a shortage of housing
• Relocation incentives:- used to encourage people living in large council houses to move out of urban areas

Revitalising CBD (Princesshay)

• Pedestrianising areas:- make them safer and nicer for shoppers
• Improving access:- better public transport links and car parking
• Converting derelcit warehouses into shops &restraunts 
• Moving public areas:- make them more attractive
