Tropical RainForests

Found in broad latitudinal belts around the equator, true tropical Rainforests are 5 degrees  North&South of Equator. They have no seasons as they're so close to the equator, this is why there's little variation in temperature. 

90% of the earth's plant&animal species are found in TRF, they also cover 6% of the earth's surface.

Physical characteristics of a tropical rainforest include: 

  • Climate, in TRF it's very hot and humid, with the average annual temperature of 26 degrees Celsius which has little variation.
