Tropical rain forests are generally very warm and humid with a lot of rain. The temperature stays at about 80 all year and goes up to 87 and no cooler than 78.

Fan palms have large leaves to catch as much rain and sunshine as possible. Tropical trees have developed huge buttress roots they help to anchor the trees to the ground.

many animals can camoflauge to keep themselves hidden from predators and prey. Monkeys swing from tree to tree to escape predators. Some animals are poisionous and are brightly coloured to warn predators to leave them alone.
