The strengths and weaknesses of the Weimar Government

Strengths:

  • All Germans had equal rights, including the right to vote.
  • Proportional representation made sure the political parties were allocated seats in parliment in proportion to th number of votes they got, making it fair.
  • A strong president was necessary to keep control over he gorvernment and to protect the country in a crisis
  • Each state
