The hydrological cycle

1. Water evaporates from:

  • sea and land
  • transpiration through plants
  • evotranspiration is these two processes happening together 

2. water vapour is moved inland by wind

3. water vapour condenses to form clouds and then falls over the land as precipitation

4. water flows/transfers by:

  • infiltration 

soaks into soil 

  • percolation

moves vertically down through soil
