Cardiac cycle

The series of stages that makes one heart beat. 

Three stages:

• Artrial systole

Both side of the heat is filled with blood. The atria muscles contract to pump blood into the ventricles. Atrium have thin thin walls and it is only pumping the blood into the ventricles therefore the pressure applied is not very great.

• Ventricular systole 

The blood is in the ventricles. Now the ventricle walls need to contract to pump the blood out of the heart. For this…
