MOTIVES:

In November 1923, Hitler ATTEMPTED to SEIZE POWER

He had already BUILT up CREDIBILITY within the NSDAP.

In September he had formed the BATTLE LEAGUE of right-wing groups which was SUPPORTED by LUDENDORFF.

He planned to use them to WIN CONTROL of BAVARIA  and then march to BERLIN.

HITLER DECIDED to go ahead when the reparations were thorough and KAHR had indicated that he might support a Putsch.

8th NOVEMBER:

HITLER & 600 SA MEN had SURROUNDED the BEER CELLAR where Kahr was addressing a large meet.ing in Munich, & ANNOUNCED a NATIONAL REVOLUTION.
