The 13 original colonies had people of commericial interest others were religious groups. Each had written charters setting out their form of gov. snd the rights of colonists. Democary was limited. Everyone should know the history of their country. I really like to study the events of those times. And by the way, I even wrote an essay about Thomas Jefferson. I was advised a useful source and learned interesting facts during his presidency. This is an outstanding personality. He made an invaluable contribution to the history of the United States.
