Blood Ciculation System- A transport system is needed to supply your cells and remove waste materials. It contains blood vessels, the heart and the blood.

A Double Circulation:

There are two transport systems called a double circulation. One transport systems carrys blood from your hearts towards your lungs and back. This allows oxygen and carbon dioxide to be exchanged in the lungs. The other carries blood around the rest of your body and back again to your heart.

Arteries- Carry blood away from your heart to the of the body.

Veins- Return the blood to you heart. Usually carries deoxygenated  blood and has valves to prevent the backflow of blood.

The Heart as a Pump:

It pumps blood around the body. It beats 70 times each minuet. The walls of the heart are muscles. It is supplied with oxygen by the cononary system.
