Leaf's structure adapted so that carbon dioxide can diffuse into plant cells (where photsynthesis happens) easily.
Underneath of leaf is exchange surface, covered in stomata where carbon dioxide diffuses through.
Water vapour & oxygen diffuse out through stomata too.
Stomata's size is controlled by guard cells, which close if plant is losing too…
