The Shahadah is the declaration of faith in Allah and his prophet.

What is the Shahadah?

The shahadah is a creed that all Muslims say. This means they belong to the Islamic Faith. The Shahadah is as follows

"There is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger".

The Shahadah is very important to Muslims because it sums up the belief of Islam, which is that there is only one god. 

By Declaring the Shahadah, a Muslim is saying the following. 

1) There is no room in their life for any God except Allah. This is a very difficult statement to make and keep, but for a Muslim, it is crucial to live a good Muslim life. Announcing the absoluteness of Allah, means that one must submit to Allah and obey His commands. Nothing less than this is enough…
