Series Circuit - The series circuit is the most simple out of the two circuits. This is what it looks like.
- The current through each componet is the same
- The potential difference (voltage) across each component adds up to the potential difference of the battery
- The Potential difference is largest across the component with the greatest resistance because more energy is transferred.
Parallel Circuit - This circuit is a little more complicated but is more commonly used.
