Main properties of a solid
- Solids cant be compressed as there isnt a lot of room between the particles.
- solids cannot flow or change position as they have strong intermolecular bonds
- solids can vibrate but only slightly
- solids have a high density because the particles are packed very tightly together
- solids have the least amount of kinetic energy
