Ayer- analytic propositions are. Quote. “true in virtue of its meaning”.

Ayer- synthetic propositions are. Quote. “Determined by the facts of experience”.

Liebniz- in the origin of contingent truths. Quote. “Necessary truths are true in all possible worlds”.

Locke- no innate knowledge. Quote. “no proposition can be said to be in the mind, which it never yet knew, which it was never conscious of.”

Locke-on acquiring concepts. Quote. “the senses at first let in particular ideas and furnish the yet empty cabinet: And the mind by degrees, growing familiar with them, they are lodged in the memory, and names given to them.
