- If ps are unaware of observation this should reduce DC. Eg Rosenhan, doctors and nurses unaware and so behaviour to patients is natural, highlighting stickiness of labels. Good as covert then increases validity of findings
- Also good if clear catergories used to allow for potential inter - observer and external reliability. Eg Ainsworth -…
