Narrative = 'story' or 'plot'

All meda texts have a narrative, they are threads which pieced together to create a meaning. Narratives are constructed by codes and conventions and representations.

NARRATIVE THEORY::

Barthes states narrative codes typify the 'unfolding' of the action codes, enigma codes etc
