Properties of metals:
- Conducts electricity
- Shiny
- Strength
- Heat conductor
- Malleable - can be hammered/shaped without breaking
- Ductile - can be drawn out into a thin wire
- Sonarous - makes a noise when dropped
- High melting/boiling point
You have to be able to look at a use of metal and link it to the property of a metal. eg. Aluminium for saucepans because it conducts heat
