Covalent Bond

Covalent bond = Non metal atoms joining together by sharing electrons.

Covalent bond = Non metal plus non metal.

Ionic bond = Non metal plus metal.

Metallic bonding = Metal plus metal.

Molecules = Substances that have atoms held together by covalent bonding.

Covalent bonds join atoms together to form molecules.

You should only use the word molecule when describing substances that are covalently bonded
