Rich people could pay other people to work for them. The King or Pharaoh employed a whole team of doctors.Importantly and wisely Egyptian Law made sure that even the poorest people could have a doctors help.

Egypt's wealth meant specialised craftsmen could spend time and money developing bronze medical instuments, which meant they had better equipment than in earlier times.
