Mass production = expensive items such as :

motorcars, fridges, and radios much cheaper so Americans could afford them.

- Mass production increased levels of production and therefore increased the number of jobs which then gave more people wages so they would be able to afford more consumer goods and this lead to the cycle of prosperity.
