wow, we love troy. i've got a map for u. the one in the book is 10x better, i suggest looking at that one (on page 163) and this is only a filler so my notes look longer than they actually are <3

so us modern day people (not too modern. the victorians too) found a lot of troys. we don't think there was a trojan war per se, we think there was an actual trojan war. u understand? no? me too!!!

• it was destroyed in around 1,250 bce. the trojan war is around 1,2000 bce
• it was rich
• there were 7m high walls. the illiad describes troy having big walls
• the walls had towers. same as troy
