IVF can be used if a couple can't have a baby naturally. It is a medical procedure where the mother's ovaries are stimulated to produce lots of eggs. The eggs are fertilised outside of the womb with the father's sperm. Some fertilised eggs are put in the mother's womb and some are frozen for later. Sometimes donor sperm can be used.
