This is looking at how particular issues are represented in media texts, such as issues of teen pregnancy, illness, sexuality, abuse and so on. Issues can be represented in many different ways by different media texts. For example, BBC news coverage on the government’s austerity measures would be different from Channel 4’s. This is because they have a different audience and different news agendas.
