Why Pearl harbour was the most significant event

• It was crucial to the cvictory of the war
• The Americans lent boats and crucial materials to Britain
• America extended Lend-Lease to the USSR
• America stopped providing Japan with oil
• Without America helping/supplying us we would have eventually run  out of crucial materials and fighting power therefore losing the war
