Great Reform Act
The 1800s British political system was incredibly corrupt with MPs able to buy votes or intimidate people. Rotten boroughs meant that the number of MPs compared to the number of citizens was disproportionate.
Radicals
Criticised parliament and social inequalities
Wanted vote for all men and secret ballot
Dealt with through Gagging Laws and raising food prices
