The Future tense.

Regular verbs.

To form the future tense of regular verbs add the following endings to the infinitives (-re verbs drop the e):

je-ai

tu-as

il/elle/on-a

nous-ons

vous-ez

ils/elles-ont

Irregular verbs

For irregular verbs use the same endings but add them to the irregular stem, not to the infinitive.

Aller=ir

Etre=ser

Avoir=aur

Faire=fer

Voir=verr

Recevoir=recevr

venir=viendr

Tenir=tiendr

Savoir=saur

Envoyer=enverr

Falloir=il faudr

Mourir=mourr

Vouloir=voudr

Valoir=vaudr

Devoir=devr
