Misleading questions: Loftus and Palmer, 2 experiments; how fast was the car going when it ____? and was there any broken glass when the car _____?. Concluded that the word 'smashed' had the highest recall and 'contacted' had the least, in 2nd experiment, most people said they saw broken glass when the word smashed was used than any other, this shows memory is distorted by misleading information.
