  • Another study carried out in Germany using a larger sample produced the same findings which is evidence to support Goldstein. In addition, her findings supported the many findings that she cites herself showing that women with schizophrenia in general have a less severe experience than men do.
  • Having other evidence that supports the findings suggests that it is valid to say that there are gender differences in the course of schizophrenia and that premorbid factors appear to be implicated.
