In year 11 you do two different experiments that link with this topic. The first one is an experiment where you use quadrats 

What are quadrats?- These are used to count how many organisms are in a certain area.

How to do the experiment: 

  • Normally you have to through the quadrat randomly and count how many organisms there are within the squares.
  • Then measure the full area, for example, the whole
