Car safety
1) Seat belt
- the TIME TAKEN to stop its wearer from continuing forwards when the car suddenly stops- the decelerating force is reduced. eg if they were driving at 30mph WITHOUT the belt- in a crash they would hit the wheel at 30mph too but WITH the belt- this impact force is reduced because it stops them completely therefore increasing IMPACT TIME going from the face to the hitting the wheel.
