Circulatory system:
The circulatory system transports substances such as oxygen, glucose and carbon dioxide around the body.
E.g. Oxygen needs to travel from the lungs to the heart then to the respiring cells.

Function: To carry oxygenated blood away from the heart. The blood is at high pressure.
