WHY CHILDREN/TEENAGERS SHOULD DO A SPORTING ACTIVITY

PARAGRAPH 1 INTRODUCTION

GOOD AFTERNOON:DOCUMENTED PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, SOCIAL,EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER BENIFITS SUCH AS TEAMWORK, AND A LONGER AND/OR A HEALTHIER LIFESTYLECAN ALL HAPPEN IF YOU TAKE UP A SPORT, PREFERABLLY FROM A YOUNG AGE. MY NAME IS CALLUM TAYLOR AND TODAY I AM HERE TO CONVINCE YOUNG PEOPLE, LIKE YOURSELVES, TO GET INVOLVED WITHIN A SPORTING ACTIVITY. THERE ARE MANY TYPES OF SPORTS INCLUDING:FOOTBALL,RUGBY,TENNIS,GOLF,BADMINTON,CRICKET AND MANY MORE-SURELY ONE IF THEM SPORTS SUITS YOU.

PARAGRAPH 2

I STARTED PLAYING SPORT AT AGE FOUR THEREFORE I HAVE BEE PLAYING SPORT FOR A LONG TIME NOW AND PERSONALLY I HAVE NOTICED THAT I AM MUCH HEALTHIER AND MUCH MORE ACTIVE THAN I WOULD OF BEEN IF I DID NOT PLAY SPORT.  WE ALL KNOW THAT PHYSICAL ACTIVITY KEEPS YOU FIT AND IN GOOD SHAPE SO WHY NOT FIND A SPORT MAYBE EVEN A NEW ONE AND GO AND TRY IT OUT!   SCIENTISTS FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA RECENTLY CARRIED OUT A TEST WHICH FOUND THAT TEENAGERS WHO TOOK PART IN PHYICAL ACTIVITY AT LEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK HAD A MORE EFFICENT HEART AND LUNGS,  HEALTHIER DIET, I MPROVED MOTOR SKILLS,   BETTER COGNITIVE FUNCTION   AND HEALTHIER WEIGHTS - AS APPOSED TO THE TEENAGERS THAT DID NOT TAKE PART IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY AT ALL.

PARAGRAPH 3

BEING PART OF A SPORTS TEAMS HELPS YOUNGER PEOPLE FORM NEW FRIENDSHIPS AS INTERRACTION IS REQUIRED IN ORDER FOR THE TEAM TO WORK TOGETHER EFFICIENTLY.  WHEN I JOINED A SPORTS TEAM I MADE MANY NEW FRIENDS AS I WAS SOCIALISING WITH THEM AND ONE BENEFIT OF MAKING FRIENDS IN SPORT IS THAT THEY WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT YOU DURING THE GAMES AS WELL AS OUT OF GAMES.   SPORT IS A VERY EXCITING FUN ACTIVITY AND THERE IS NOTHING BETTER THAN DOING FUN ACTIVITES WITH YOUR FRIENDS.   HENCE WHY I HINK YOU SHOULD JOIN A SPORTING TEAM.

PARAGRAPH 4

DURING THE MAJORITY OF SPORTING ACTIVITES, TEAMWORK SKILLS ARE DRASTICALLY DEVELOPED.  BECAUSE MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, YOU WORK WITH YOUR TEAM DURING THE GAME WHICH INVOLVED COMMUNICATION AND UNDERSTANDING-   TWO QUALITIES THAT ARE ESSENTIAL IN LIFE THAT CAN BE DEVELOPED IN SPORT.  TEAMWORK CAN ALSO BE APPLIED IN PLACES SUCH AS SCHOOL WHEN YOU WORK IN GROUPS IN ORDER TO COMMPLETE A TASK,  IF YOU HAVE TEAMWORK SKILLS, THIS TASK CAN BE DONE WITH MAXIMUM EFFORT AND ACHIEVEMENTS. THEREFORE TEAMWORK PLAYS A BIG ROLE IN SPORT SO IF ANYBODY IS LOOKING TO DEVELOP LIFE SKILLS MAYBE A SPORTS TEAM IS A GOOD OPTION FOR YOU.

PARAGRAPH 5 ALTERNATIVE ARGUMENT

HOWEVER, WITH SPORT COMES TIREDNESS WHICH CAN SOMETIMES BE A LITTLE OFF PUTTING, ESPECIALLY FOR A YOUNG CHILD DOING LOTS OF SPORT AS THEY WILL GET VERY FATIGUED , NEVER THE LESS THIS DOES GET EASIER TO HANDLE AS YOU PROGRESS IN PHYSICAL ACTIVITY.

PARAGRAPH 6 CONCLUSION

SO WOULD YOU LIKE TO LIVE A LONGER, HEALTHIER LIFE? DEVELOP ESSENTIAL LIFE SKILLS SUCH AS COMMUNICATION AND SOCIALISATION? THEN GO AND FIND A SPORT YOU ENJOY AND GET INVOLVED!
