Population Dynamics

ageing poulation: the increase of older depedents within a poulation

Birth Rate: the number of babaies annually per 1,000 women of reproductive age

Death Rate: the ratio of deaths in an area to the population of that area per 1,00 per year

Economic migrant: a person leaving his?hers habital place to settle outside his/hers country to improve quanlity of life economic reasons

Emigrants/Immigrants: emigrants- someone who leaves one country t0o settle in anaother. immigrants- a person who comes to country where they were not born in order to settle

Infant mortality rate: the number of deaths of infants below one years old in a population

Life expectancy: average number of yeras an individual could be expected to live on current patterns of mortality

Migration: the movement of persons from one country locally to another

Natural change/increase: natural change- the difference between the number of births and deaths in a year. natural increase a natural increase is a population due to more births and less mortality

Population Pyramid: shos the distrubution of a population by age and sex

Population structure: the ratio of age groups, by sex with a population

Youthful poulation: the increase of young depedents within a population
