What Kinds of Tectonic Plate Boundary are there?

Divergent (Constructive) - When plates pull apart from each other and magma rises through a rift causing more crust to be formed

Convergent (Collision) - When continental plates converge and push against one another making a fold mountain range form between them (e.g. The Himalayas)

Convergent (Subduction) - When continental and oceanic plates meet the oceanic plate is forced underneath the continental plate. The subducting plate then melts into the mantle =.

Conservative (Transform) - When two plates run past each other, this can cause large amounts of friction to occur making earthquakes happen.
