Space

The earth rotates around the sun along a circular path. This path is known as its orbit. The earth takes one year or 365 1/4 days to orbit the sun completely which is 12 months.

The moon also travels on a circular path ,or orbit, around the earth. It takes 28 days for the moon to orbit the earth completely. The earth is 4 times bigger then the moon.
