Exam Question:

In the villiage school, the ratio of boys to girls is 4:5.

There are 152 boys.

How many girls are in the school?

Workings:

To find 1 you divide 152 by 4 and get the answer 38.

You then times 38 by 5 to get the answer 190. <------- This is how many girls are in the school.

152÷4=38 (This is to find 1)

38x5=190 (This is how many girls are in the school)
