Rate of reaction
What is the rate of reaction? The rate of reaction is the change in concentration of reactants or products per unit time.
How is rate of reaction worked out?
Change in concentration of reactant or product/ time taken for change
Units= mol dm-3 / s = mol dm-3 s-1 (conc/ time)
What is the initial rate of reaction? The change in concentratation of the reactant, or product per unit time, at the start of a reaction when t=0.
