Ice Baths
An ice bath is water immersion and is usually followed by a period of intense exercise. Ice baths reduce inflammation and improve recovery by changing the way blood so then the veins will vasodilate and the arteries vasoconstrict so the blood can go to the muscles that need the blood and the precapillary sphincters help this this is known as a process called redistribution of blood.
