How to cool down?

5-10 of low intensity exercise (example walk or jog). It helps to release any lactic acid and build up. This is followed by a 5-10 minute static stretching. Some benefits include clearing waste products, reducing potential DOMS, reduces dizziness and nausea, decreases heart and breathing rate. A cool down in dance- Walk around the room slowly for about 2 mins, stretch out arms and legs.
