STREAMING OVER THE INTERNET
1. user selects entertainment service e.g. tv programme
2. user presses play on their remote
3. programme is continuosly sent from the server and streamed over the internet
4. some data is stored incase there is a delay in data arriving it means there will still be a bit of the tele programme to view while they wait to receive the rest of the data
5. PROGRAMME PLAYS
DOWNLOADING OVER THE INTERNET
1. user selects what they want to download e.g. tv programme
2. user downloads the entire file first from the server to their device
3. user presses play and the programme plays from start to end with no interruptions
