Nuclear Fusion

  Describe the process of nuclear fusion:

It happens in the Sun – called Nuclear Fusion.  It is the joining of two nuclei together is called fusion and releases a lot of energy. Therefore a bigger nucleus is formed,In stars hydrogen nuclei join together to form helium nuclei.

Star Conditions

·         Stars form when enough dust and gas from space is pulled together by gravitational attraction – protostar. Smaller masses may also form and be attracted by a larger mass to become planets
