Describe the difference between a single circularatory system to a double circularatory system.

single circularatory: blood passes through the heart once to reach all parts of the body. Eg: fish or shark

Double circularatory:blood passes through the heart twice. Eg: one circuit to the lungs one to the body.

what are these and what do they do:

-the coronary artery

- pace maker cells

coronary artery = the artery that supplies blood to the heart.

pace maker cells= send an electric current to control the beating of the heart.

what other ways can doctors monitor the beating of your heart?

an ECG or EKG

what is an echodiagram?

an ultra sound image of the heart
