Agency Theory

Agentic State - independence and conscience are overcome and the individual acts as an agent for another person

Autonomous State - Acting and thinking as an autonomous and independent person with a fully active conscience

Moral Strain - Consequences of going against your conscience and doing something that you know is wrong

Social Identity Theory

Social Categorisation - Act of grouping people according to a category

Social Identification - At of accepting the norms and attitudes of a group and strengthening the group identity of the group

Social Comparison - Act of comparing groups with one another

In Group - Group that you believe you are a member of

Out Group - Group that you are not a member of but is similar to your in group in some way
