Hooke’s law

—> Robert Hooke found that materials have a force constant, sometimes called a spring constant which is the force required to extend the material by a metre.

—> equation : k = F/x
(f is force applied // x is extension)

—> how a graph would show that the spring obeys Hooke’s law?
As the force increased, the extension increased.
Positive correlation.

—> how a material would react when placing such a large load onto it?
The material has reached its elastic limit.
