- Poland- Loss of teritory to poland= resented:

- Kapp Putch= SUCCESS for Weimar Republic- retained support of the people & Working class= ralied defence to withstand threat from right.

- Army lacked any sympathy for Republic= Unreliability
- Army became a 'State Within a State'
