Deserts- deserts are hot humid places that are very hard to live in, there is a lack of water to drink and food to eat. It is very hot in the day and very cold at night, this means the desert have a large diurnal range. The sun is very intense so t is vital for someone to have shade.
Mountains- mountains can be mild at the bottom and very cold near the summit. the terrain is very rocky and vicious blizzards can occur at the summit
