Exam Tips- Poetry Analogue

Tip 1: Read all the poems and annotate the ones that interest you most. This way you will have specific examples to slot into your Exam.

Tip 2: Look for- Structure (rhyme and rhythm. Does it have a pattern?), Words (what do they symbolise?), Diologue, Narrative Voice.

Tip 3: Colour Code the things you have to look for.

Tip 4: In the exam read the question Twice and highlight the key word- e.g imagery or language

Tip 5: Allways include your words from your word bank in your essays.

Tip 6: Keep practicing these methods in pass papers.
